Tattoo at Hilton Hawaiian Village — Walk-In Available
Quick Answer
Aloha Tattoo at Diamond Head Tower, Hilton Hawaiian Village. Spade available for walk-in custom and flash tattoos. Open 7 days, steps from the beach.
Aloha Tattoo — Diamond Head Tower, Hilton Hawaiian Village
Aloha Tattoo is the studio inside the Diamond Head Tower at Hilton Hawaiian Village, Waikiki. It's where Spade works — and where hundreds of visitors each year get their Hawaii tattoo without leaving the hotel grounds.
The location is intentional: world-class tattooing where the tourists already are, not hidden in a studio district that requires a thirty-minute detour. Whether you're a hotel guest or a Waikiki visitor staying nearby, the studio is walkable and accessible.
Walk-In Process
Walk-ins are welcome during studio hours (10AM–10PM, seven days). Here's how it works:
- 01.Come in and introduce yourself. Let Spade know what you're thinking — the idea, the placement, the general size.
- 02.He'll assess whether it's achievable same-day or whether a scheduled session would serve the piece better.
- 03.If walk-in works, he'll sketch, review with you, and begin when you're both ready.
- 04.If the piece needs more time or planning, he'll schedule you into an available slot during your stay.
No judgment, no pressure. The studio is designed for the visitor experience.
Custom vs. Flash for Walk-Ins
Flash: Pre-drawn designs available to tattoo immediately. Spade's flash skews toward Hawaii-themed work — sea turtles, hibiscus, sharks, ocean elements — as well as other motifs suited for small, meaningful pieces. Flash is the fastest walk-in option.
Custom: Your own concept, designed in-session. Works best for simpler ideas that don't require extensive pre-drawing. More complex custom pieces benefit from advance consultation so Spade can prepare reference and design before you arrive.
Either way, you're getting Spade's craftsmanship — not a walk-in assembly line.
Steps From the Beach
The Hilton Hawaiian Village is on the oceanfront. Spade's studio is inside. You can spend the morning at the beach, walk in for an afternoon session, and be wrapped and heading back to your hotel before sunset.
Just remember: fresh tattoos and saltwater don't mix. If you're planning a beach tattoo day, plan the tattoo at the end — not the beginning — of your ocean time. Spade will give you full aftercare guidance before you leave the chair.
