Vacation Tattoo FAQ
Is it safe to get a tattoo on vacation in Hawaii?
Yes — licensed studios in Hawaii follow strict Department of Health regulations. Aloha Tattoo at the Hilton Hawaiian Village uses single-use needles and sterilized equipment for every client.
Can I get a tattoo the day before I fly home?
Yes. Flying with a fresh tattoo is completely fine. Keep it wrapped, moisturized, and out of direct sun. Full aftercare instructions come with every session.
How much does a vacation tattoo cost?
Spade's rate is $300/hr with a $150 minimum. Small pieces start around $150–$300. Financing is available for sessions over $600.
Do I need to book in advance?
Booking ahead is strongly recommended — especially during peak season (December–March, June–August). Walk-ins are welcome when slots are open.
Book Before You Land
Most visitors book from the mainland before their trip.
Lock in your slot — availability fills fast in peak season.
